Zero-Tolerance Commitment
Hilltop AST maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment. Every student and staff member has the right to feel safe, respected, and supported in the learning environment.
What Is Considered Harassment
Harassment may include, but is not limited to:
– Unwelcome verbal, physical, or visual behaviour directed at someone based on personal characteristics
– Sexual harassment, including unwanted advances or inappropriate comments
– Cyberbullying or online harassment
– Any behaviour that creates a hostile, intimidating, or unsafe environment
How to Report Harassment
If you experience or witness harassment:
- Report Immediately – Inform your instructor or management as soon as possible.
- Document the Incident – Record important details such as the date, time, location, individuals involved, and any witnesses.
- Investigation – All reports will be reviewed promptly and handled with confidentiality.
- Appropriate Action – Hilltop AST will take necessary steps to address and resolve the situation.
